28-hour, 3-day Armed Security FCC Qualification Course

The course leads to a 28-hour Completion Certificate of subjects, as required by IDFPR. Use of Deadly Force, key firearm safety, situational awareness and staying safe while working as an armed security officer. Classroom instruction on private security laws, ethical and moral considerations necessary for any person who possesses a firearm, civil & criminal liability for acts committed while armed. Students will learn how to safely, load/unload and operate a weapon, proper firearm maintenance and storage, shooting fundamentals: stance, grip, sight

alignment and picture, trigger and breathe control. Practice dry-fire training using SIRT training pistols helping them understand shooting fundamentals before going to the range. We provide use of a Glock 17 or 357 Revolver for student to use during your range practice and qualification. Students need to score a 70% or higher on a written exam. Includes firearm usage & classroom instruction. *Additional range fees not included.
